Mark practices in the area of immigration and personal injury law, in both the United States and Canada. Mark is licensed in Washington State, the Federal Courts of the United States (9th Circuit), and in British Columbia, Canada.
Aside from representing corporations and individuals in a wide range of immigration and citizenship matters, Mark is very involved in the firm’s practice of representing both Canadian and U.S. citizens with their cross border personal injury claims.
In addition to his practice experience, Mark regularly attends continuing legal education seminars, to further develop his trial and advocacy skills, and to remain current on the latest changes in the law. Mark is one of a select group of lawyers in the Vancouver area that focuses his practice on cross border matters.
Outside of work, Mark is a family man. He enjoys spending time with his wife, son and two dogs. He enjoys skiing in the winter, golfing in the summer, and tries to cycle to work on a daily basis. Mark is also actively involved in mentoring young lawyers and giving them guidance, whether it be through formal mentoring programs or when he is personally contacted by aspiring cross border lawyers.
