Car accident in British Columbia injures 5

A serious two-car crash on the early morning of Nov. 27 has sent five people to the hospital, according to police authorities. Officers in Richmond, British Columbia, responded to the car accident around 1 a.m. So far, they have not filed charges against either of the drivers involved in the crash, but they are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident and charges may yet be forthcoming. 

British Columbia man pleads guilty in car accident case

A man who pleaded guilty to a hit-and-run car accident that killed a 25-year-old woman in Vancouver in March has begun his sentencing process. British Columbia residents may remember coverage of the car accident that has since been attributed to reckless driving. The proceedings were adjourned initially because nearly 50 of the woman's friends and family made appearances to view the sentencing. 

Car accident kills cyclist in British Columbia

A serious accident in Richmond has left one bicyclist dead and two others injured, according to police. British Columbia authorities responded to the car accident that claimed the life of a 33-year-old man and sent two others to the hospital in serious conditions. So far, no charges have been filed against the driver involved in the accident.

1 dead, 2 injured in British Columbia car accident

Authorities are still investigating the cause of a serious crash in Richmond early on the morning of Oct. 30 that claimed the life of a 23-year-old from Coquitlam. British Columbia RCMP forces have not yet determined what caused the car accident that also sent two other people to the hospital. They have asked that anyone with information about the crash please come forward and assist. 

Man pleads guilty in hit-and-run crash in British Columbia

A man accused of killing a 25-year-old woman back in March has pleaded guilty, according to court sources. British Columbia authorities charged the man with dangerous driving causing death as well as failure to stop at an accident following the hit\-and\-run crash. He is scheduled to be sentenced at the end of November. 

Car accident in British Columbia injures 1

One person was hurt in a single-car crash in West Kelowna on the afternoon of Oct. 9, according to local sources. Kelowna, British Columbia, authorities responded to the car accident on Highway 97. Very little information is available at this time, as police are still investigating the accident. 

2 injured in British Columbia car accident; saved by band

Two band members are being lauded as heroes after rescuing two individuals from a burning vehicle in the early morning of Oct. 9. British Columbia authorities have not yet divulged the details of the car accident that very nearly claimed the lives of two people. They have also not filed charges against the driver involved in the crash. 

Elderly woman injured in British Columbia car accident

An elderly woman is clinging to life in a hospital after she was struck by a car in East Vancouver the night of Sept. 29. British Columbia authorities have reported she was walking in a crosswalk when the car accident occurred. For the moment, police have not filed charges against the driver, but this does not preclude the woman, or someone designated to act on her behalf, from filing a personal injury lawsuit. 

British Columbia man facing lawsuit over car accident

A man who stands accused of causing a fatal crash that claimed the life of an RCMP officer in April is now facing a civil suit for a second accident in May, according to local sources. British Columbia authorities had already arrested and charged the man for his alleged role in a fatal crash on April 5. The man is now facing further legal action in the form of a personal injury lawsuit pertaining to a May 22 car accident. 

Pedestrian car accident in British Columbia

RCMP officials are still trying to determine the cause of a serious crash in Vernon on the morning of Sept. 9. British Columbia authorities have reported that three children and a daycare worker attending to them were struck by a vehicle. The car accident is under investigation as of this report.
