Vehicles recalled for rollaway risk

In previous posts we have written about the recall of airbags installed in many of the vehicles on roads in both the United States as well as Canada. Recently, issues with another part of certain vehicles were in the news, after a fairly well-known actor died, potentially as a result of a defect.

Symptoms may linger for years following TBI

When someone is hurt in a car accident the extent of their injuries will vary depending on the circumstances surrounding the incident. While some people involved in a collision will walk away with minor, if any injuries, other times people will be seriously hurt. When the injury is to the brain it has the potential to be particularly devastating.

Not all injuries suffered in traffic accidents are physical

Traffic accidents happen every day throughout British Columbia. In some cases they result in serious injuries to those involved. Those injuries, which can take many forms, may make it difficult for those affected to move forward with life. While these injuries are often physical in nature, it is possible a person’s psychological state could also be affected by a collision. A man originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo knows this firsthand.

Takata airbags still being installed

Last month we wrote about the expanded recall of defective air bags that had been installed in vehicles to make them safer. As we mentioned in that post, the issue is the force at which the bags inflate. The airbags themselves have been blamed for the deaths and injuries of many people. Recently, a report that many readers may find upsetting was in the news regarding the airbags being used in manufacture of some new vehicles.
